Post handing over ceremony for PGN?s top executives to take place on Monday

The post handing over from the newly replaced president director of state-owned gas distributing company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Qoyum Tjandranegara to his successor WMP Simanjuntak, will take place in a ceremony to be held at the firm?s headquarters on Monday, according to its information office.

Simanjuntak took over from Tjandranegara as president director of PGN based on a decree issued by State Enterprises State Minister Laksamana Sukardi, which was received by the firm?s leadership on Friday, the information office said.

Also appointed to assume top positions at PGN were Adil Abas, development affairs director; Nur Subagio, procurement director; and Djoko Pramono, finance director; and Sutikno, general affairs director.

The executives are expected to improve efficiency at PGN which, together with state oil and gas company Pertamina and state-owned electricity PLN, has dominated Indonesia?s energy sector for decades. (godang)
