PP bags $120m EPC contract to build geothermal power plant

Jakarta-listed construction firm PT PP (Persero) said on Monday that it bagged US$120 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build a geothermal power plant in West Java.
The power plant will have a capacity of 40 MW. The construction of the power plant is expected to start within this year, the company said in a statement.
The project will take three years to complete, it said.
The company did not give the name of the power plant. (denny)
