IDX-listed construction firm PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PP) is eyeing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects for a number of power plants with a total capacity of 354 MW in Sumatra, Kalimantan and West Java this year.
?The projects are those belonging to PT PLN and other private firms. Fuel used for these power plants varies, from coal, gas, geothermal to hydro,? Corporate Secretary Betty Ariana said as reported by Bisnis Indonesia.
At present, PP is handling the EPC works at several power plants, including the 90 MW PLTG Sei Gelam Jambi.
Betty said that EPC forms one of the four businesses the company is prioritizing on. The other three are construction, property and investment. The company has targeted Rp 308 billion in profit for this year. ?The EPC projects are targeted to make up some 19% of this year?s orders.? (*)
