Prabu Energy finalizing drilling contract on Kayumanis-1

ASX-listed firm Quest Petroleum said that its subsidiary Prabu Energy Pty Ltd is finalizing negotiations with rig operators and that the execution of the drilling contract on the Kayumanis-1 exploration well within the Ranau block is expected soon after the drilling approval is received.
It said also that all other third party service contracts are being negotiated and materials and personnel are being mobilized in preparation to commence drilling.
The Kayumanis-1 Lead is one of 16 leads identified in the Ranau PSC with total potential of up to 6 tcf gas and/or 300 mmbbl oil. It is located approximately 10 km south of the town of Baradatu in the Way Kanan area of Lampung province.
Based on the results of the Kayumanis-1 Well, two further wells are planned in the initial drilling program. Further details on the first well will be released closer to the spud date.
