Prabu sets drilling at Kayumanis-1 at Q4

Prabu Energy Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of ASX-listed Quest Petroleum, said it will drill Kayumanis-1 exploration well within the Ranau block in the fourth quarter of the year, according to upstream authority BPMIGAS.

The plan was revealed by Head of Public and Institutional Relations of BPMIGAS for northern Sumatra areas Bambang Suprianto during a courtesy visit to Way Kanan regency in Lampung over the weekend, hosted by Regent Bustami Zainudin.

Also present at the meeting was Prabu General Manager Didiek Sumasdi.

Bustami welcomed the plan and said that his administration and the people of Way Kanan will give their full support to the company?s exploration activities.

?We are hopeful that the activities will be successful in finding oil or gas reserves that will eventually be positive for the surrounding communities,? he said.
