Premier appoints new Indonesia GM/President

Indonesian unit of UK-based oil firm Premier Oil announced on Friday the appointment of Peter Mills to replace Ron Aston as Indonesia General Manager/President with effect from 1st February 2007.
Peter has been with Premier Oil since March 2005 in the role of Vice President, Technical Operations. As General Manager/President, Peter will report directly to Barry J. O'Donnell, Asia Business Unit Manager, based in Singapore.
Premier is the operator of West Natuna block A with a 28.67% interest, and the other partners in the block are Kufpec (33.33%), Hess (23%) and Petronas (15%). Apart from Natuna Block A, Premier has interest in several other Indonesian blocks. (alex)
