Premier drills Natuna well

UK independent oil, gas firm Premier Oil said on Tuesday it was currently drilling the Gajah Sumatra-1 well in Natuna Block A PSC offshore Central Sumatra.
The company did not give further detail, but according to its website, the well was intended to appraise Ganesha discovery.
The drilling is part of the 5-well drilling the company planned on Natuna Block A PSC for this year.
Premier operates the Natuna Sea Block A with a 28.67 percent interest. The other partners in the block are Kufpec (33.33 percent), Amerada Hess (23 percent) and Petronas (15 percent). (alex)
