Premier reports slightly higher Indonesian production

UK-based oil, gas firm Premier Oil reported on Monday that its January-April 2017 Indonesian production increased slightly to 14,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 14,000 BOEPD last year?s same quarter.
During the period, Premier?s operated Natuna Sea Block A increased its market share within its principal gas contract to 49 per cent year to date against a contractual share of 47 per cent.
The company also reported that long lead items have been purchased for the sanctioned Bison, Iguana and Gajah Puteri fields. These fields are targeted to come on-stream in 2019 and will support Premier?s long term gas contracts.
Premier is the operator of Natuna Sea Block A with 28.67% interest. The block sells gas to Singapore and Batam island under long-term contracts together with other PSCs.
