Press Release: UT delivered US$63.5 million for debt prepayment

13 August 2004 ? Jakarta -- On 11 August 2004, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT or the company) delivered a debt prepayment of US$63.5 million to its creditors. The amount was consisted of US$57.3 million proceeds from the sale of UT?s shares in PT Berau Coal, and US$6.2 million final dividend received from PT Pamapersada Nusantara for 2003.

As a result of the prepayment, the company?s (as parent company) current debt position has been reduced from an equivalent of USD 171.6 million to an equivalent of USD 108.1 million. (end of release)
