The government increased the price of premium gasoline in regions outside Java and Bali to Rp 6,800 per liter from Rp 6,600 per liter. Price in Java and Bali was increased to Rp 6,900 per liter.

The increase is in line with the rise in the price of the fuel in Singapore in February, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement Sunday.

The price of subsidized automotive diesel and kerosene is maintained at Rp 6,400 per liter, and Rp 2,500 per liter, respectively.

Meanwhile, state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina said in a separate statement that the price of non-subsidized LPG in 12 Kg-cylinder has also been increased to Rp 134,000 starting March 1 from Rp 129,000 in line with rising price of the commodity in the international market.
