Prices of petroleum and diesel fuel for December will not be changed

Prices of petroleum and automotive diesel fuel for December will remain at Rp 1,750 and Rp 1,550 per liter, respectively despite the expected slight drop in prices of other fuels including gasoline and industrial diesel fuel, Kompas reported on Thursday.
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro said in Jakarta on Wednesday that prices of other fuels including gasoline and industrial diesel fuel would slightly decline in line with the general trend in the crude oil prices in the international market.
The price of automotive diesel fuel rose to Rp 1,550 per liter in November from Rp 1,440 per liter in October. The price of industrial diesel fuel also rose to Rp 1,520 from Rp 1,420 in the previous month but the price of premium remained at Rp 1,750 per liter.
The government revises the fuel prices every month in accordance with the fluctuation in crude oil prices in the international market. (*)
