Prima Energi to develop biomass power plant in Aceh

Indonesia-based independent power producer company, PT Prima Energi Lestari hopes to be able to start soon construction of a 10 MW biomass power plant in Tanjung Seumantoh Village, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang Province, Aceh Province.
Robert Machnik, Project Manager of the company told Petromindo.com on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 6th Indonesia Electricity and Independent Power Producer Conference 2016 held by Petromindo.com that the feed stock for the planned power plant will use empty oil palm fruit bunches.
Machnik said that the EPC contract for this project has just been signed. ?The project is expected to be completed within two years,? he said, adding that the power purchase agreement (PPA) for the project was signed several years ago.
