Prima Sarana bags 5-year contract extension

PT Prima Sarana Gemilang (PSG), a subsidiary of Indomobil Group has bagged 5-year mining service extension contract for two additional new pit areas from coal miner PT Nusantara Berau Coal (NBC), in Berau regency, East Kalimantan starting 2012.

This extension project is targeting to produce around 200,000 tons monthly at a stripping ratio of 4:1 and operating a fleet heavy heavy earth moving equipment, each having capacity approximately 6.7 m3.

PSG as main contractor in NBC mine plans to produce about 3 million tons of coal next year, Bambang Prijono, assistant president director for mining operations told Petromindo.com in September.

?At present, we produce about 1.7 million tons from a mining pit. Beginning the middle of this year, we began production at the second pit in order to increase production to 3 million tons,? he added.
