Prima Sarana to produce 3 million tons of coal

PT Prima Sarana Gemilang, a subsidiary of Indomobil Group engaged in mining service, plans to produce about 3 million tons of coal next year from a coal concession area owned by PT Nusantara Berau Coal in Berau regency, East Kalimantan.

?At present, we produce about 1.7 million tons from a mining pit. Beginning the middle of this year, we began production at the second pit in order to increase production to 3 million tons,? the company?s assistant mining operations to the president director, Bambang Prijono, told Petromindo.com Friday.

Indomobil Group began mining activities at Nusantara Berau?s coal mine in 2011.
