Prime Petroservices eyeing Tangguh gas supply

Energy firm PT.Prime Petroservices (PP) has expressed interest to buy gas from Tangguh LNG plant starting 2011 to feed its proposed LNG receiving terminal in Bali, an official from upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Monday.
Deputy Chairman Djoko Harsono said that the company has asked for long-term supply starting 300,000 TPA in the first years, ramping up to 500,000 TPA in one or two years.
Djoko said the company was asking part of the volume of Tangguh LNG that would be sent to North America customer Sempra Energy that could be diverted another destination.
PP, through its subsidiary PT.Indogas Kriya Dwiguna is planning to build a mini-LNG plant in the tourist island of Bali to meet gas demand of the island?s power plants. (alex)
