Prisma Karun to build hydropower plant

PT. Prisma Karun Energy will build a mini hydro power plant with a capacity of 2 x 3.3 megawatt with total investment of about Rp 100 billion in Datara village, Tompobulu district in Gowa regency, South Sulawesi, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Friday.
The company?s President Director Sera Edy said that the construction of the hydropower plant project would be commenced in August, 2013 and it is scheduled for commercial operation in August 2015.
?We are now working on land acquisition for the project,?he said after the signing of power purchase agreement with the branch office of PLN in South , Southeast and West Sulawesi on Thursday. (*)
