Production facility construction ongoing in four blocks

Despite the oil price drops, four operators continue the construction of production facilities in their respective blocks, a senior official of the ministry of energy and mineral resources said on Tuesday.
The four blocks are Muara Baru PSC, Pandan PSC, Palmerah PSC and West Air Komering PSC, Director General of Oil and Gas IGN Wiratmaja said.
?The progress of production facility construction at Jangkrik complex in Muara Bakau block operated by ENI has reached 44.8 percent,? Wiratmaja said.
The construction of production facilities in Ario Damar field in Pandan block operated by Tropik Pandan Enegy has reached 33.4 percent. The field is expected to come onstream at the end of this year, he said.
?The Budi field in Palmerah block operated by Tately came onstream in 2013. At present, the Phase 2 construction of production facilities there are in progress,? he said.
He further explained that in West Air Komering PSC, PT Tiara Bumi Petroleum, the operator, is in the process of finishing the Phase 2 construction of production facilities (full scale) in Sampoerna field The Sampoerna field started production in 2014.
