Provident increases shares at Sumatra Copper

Provident Minerals Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Provident Capital, recently stated to have increased its share ownership at the ASX-listed Sumatera Copper and Gold Plc to 11.20 percent from the previously 10.9 percent.
Sumatera Copper & Gold said in a statement submitted to the Australian Stock Exchange stated that the transaction was signed on November 8, 2012.
Provident was founded in 2004 and has a number of successful investments in a variety of industries. One of its investments is a 19 percent interest in Sihayo Gold Limited, an Australian listed gold mining company based in Indonesia.
