PSC drafts for 2 shale gas working areas nearing completion

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is finalizing the drafts of production sharing contracts (PSC) for two shale gas working areas to be put on offer later on this year, namely in West Tanjung, South Kalimantan, and Kisaran, North Sumatra.
"The drafts are being finalized by our team. We will soon announce the tender," said Upstream Director at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas Naryanto Wagimin to petromindo.com. Naryanto said the split to be shared in shale gas will depend on the economic assessment of the operation.
