PSCs drill 85 new exploration wells as of end October

BPMIGAS Deputy Chairman for Operation Rudi Rubiandini said of these wells, seven wells are being tested.
These are South Sebuku-2 well in Bengaran-1 PSC, East Kalimantan which is owned by Salamander PLC; Keruing-1 well owned by PT Kalimantan Kutei Energi; Prabumenang 8X owned by state oil and gas firm PT Pertamina; Sungai Anggur-2 within Merangin II block owned by PT Sele Raya Merangin Dua (SRMD); Solo-1; Prabumenang-7X owned by Pertamina; and KKT-1 well owned by PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE).
Rudi Rubiandini however gave no comparison figures for the same period last year.
He said in November alone there will be around 23 exploration wells that will be drilled by PSCs. The drilling of exploration wells are aimed at raising oil and gas potentials. (godang)
