PSE inaugurates fuel storage tank to support KPC

After two years of construction, PT Petro Storindo Energi (PSE) finally inaugurated the operation of a diesel fuel storage tank located at the mining area of coal miner PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) in Tanjung Bara, Sangatta Utara District, Kutai Timur Regency, East Kalimantan Province.

Local reports said on Wednesday that PSE held an inauguration ceremony on Tuesday for the fuel tank facility, which has a capacity of 3x35 million liters, led by Setyorini Tri Hutami, Director for Downstream Oil and Gas Development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and attended by local government and company top officials.

President Director of PSE, Andika Andrayuda Bakrie said that the facility will support the supply of automotive diesel fuel for KPC, a subsidiary of IDX-listed coal giant PT Bumi Resources Tbk.

PSE is an Indonesian limited liability company, a joint venture between PT Petromine Energy Trading, BP Indonesia Investment Limited, PT Bakrie Capital Indonesia, and PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk. The main business segment the company is fuel storage terminal services, which include renting, operating, and maintenance the facilities. (*)
