PT KPC receives CSR awards

PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC), a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources, has received Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awards for its outstanding achievement in conducting community development programs, Media Indonesia reported on Wednesday.
PT KPC got the highest scores for all the categories contested. In the category of economy, the company received 89.86 points while in the environment, it received 86.93 points.
"The success reflects our strong commitment to carry out community development programs. Our community development mission is not to obtain the awards but purely for the local people," the corporate secretary of PT Bumi Resource Geroad Jusuf said about the awards. (*)
