PT Laju Segara - M3nergy consortium preferred bidder for Belanak FSO

Upstream authority BPMIGAS Vice Chairman Hardiono said consortium of PT Laju Segara and M3nergy Bhd of Malaysia had been selected as preferred bidder for Belanak Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) Belanak.

?At present, the price of the FSO is being negotiated,? Hardiono told Petromindo.com.

The FSO will be deployed to support the Belanak field gas production, within the Natuna Sea, Block B.

The tender is being undertaken by the Indonesian unit of US oil, gas firm ConocoPhillips, the operator of the Natuna Sea, Block B.

ConocoPhillips said earlier that the FSO would be leased for the period of 16 years including 2 years conversion, 8 years fixed Time Charter, and 6x1 years Optional yearly extension.
