PT Len to build 20MW solar power plant in NTT

State-owned engineering company PT Len Industri plans to build a 20 MW solar power plant in Oelpuah, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), Kontan reported on Wednesday.
The paper quoted Arif Rohmatin, a manager at NTT office of state-owned power firm PT PLN, as saying that estimated investment is about US$4 million per MW.
He said that the planned power plant, to be located on a 15-ha land, will increase power supply in Oelpuah and other regions. Oelpuah currently has one solar power plant with capacity of 5 MW.
