PTBA annual revenue up 9.6%, net profit drops

Its net profit, nevertheless drop around 6 percent to Rp 2,9 trillion 2011 record.
The company sold 15.3 million tons of coal last year from 13.5 million tons sold in 2011, up to 14 million tons were extracted from production from Tanjung Enim South Sumatera and East Kalimantan based subsidiary PT Internasional Prima Coal. Up to 1.5 million tons were derived from its trading business.
Up to 55% of its coal, reaching 8.4 million tons were sold to domestic market, while the remaining 6.9 million tons were exported at the average selling price of Rp 754.544,- or 4 percent drop from previous year's ASP of Rp 784.304,-.
The company is currently dealing with the share ownership restructuring of PT Bukit Asam Banko mine, which railroad construction from Tanjung Enim to Lampung is currently pursuing the Amdal license.
The company targeted to load 15.69 million tons of coal using existing railroad facility provided by PT KAI this year, in which up to 13.8 million tons to be transferred to Tarahan Port at Bandar Lampung with the remaining tonnage to be delivered to Kertapati Port in Palembang.
Coal volume delivered to Tarahan Port is expected to reach 22.7 million tons per annum, as it expect to raise the port's capacity from 13 million tons to 25 million tons per annum to be able to accommodate 80.000 DWT (Panamax) and 150.000 ton (capsize) vessels.
The company has also completed its Ship Loader (CHF) project at Kertapati Port Palembang, cutting cost by around Rp 75 billion.
