PTBA constructs its own coal handling facility

IDX-listed coal giant PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) recently stated to have completed the construction of its own coal handling facility to be installed at the Kertapati Port Palembang.

The company stated that the facility has been prepared and constructed and since March 2012 and completed in February this year at its main workshop located in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatera.

PTBA, deploying German made CHF since the early 80, stated to successfully create Rp 75 billion worth of efficiency, in which the locally made facility is currently entering the commissioning stage at Tanjung Enim.

PTBA has also previously conducted renewal of its Rotary Car Dumper at the same workshop, saving about Rp 9,4 billion worth expenses of the investment total.
