PTBA eyes new Kalimantan coalmining projects

State coal mining firm PT. Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam is evaluating offers to buy several advanced-stage coal-mining prospects in South and East Kalimantan, a company official said.

?PTBA is offered to put stake in several prospect, but we have yet come to a decision,? corporate secretary Milawarma said without giving specific details.

Milawarma said PTBA is keen to acquire new coal mining projects with production capacity of between 1 to 5 million tons annually. (alex)
