PTBA in coal supply talks with Semen Gresik

IDX-listed state coal mining firm PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) is in talks to supply coal from its newly producing unit in East Kalimantan to cement maker PT Semen Gresik.
PTBA Corporate Secretary Achmad Sudarto told reporters on Monday that both parties are still finalizing coal supply volume, price and contract duration.
PTBA?s East Kalimantan unit PT International Prima Coal (IPC) will start operations shortly with this year?s production seen at 300,000 tonnes, ramping up to 2 MT next year.
Sudarto said apart from Semen Gresik, PTBA is also in talks with undisclosed European potential offtaker for IPC?s coal. (godang)
