PTBA opens Kertapati to Suralaya barging tender

State coal miner PT. Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam announced on Friday tender registration for coal transportation by barge from Kertapati coal terminal in South Sumatra to Indonesia Power?s Suralaya power plant in Banten province.
The company said in an announcement posted in national media that it was seeking to transport around 600,000 tonnes of coal per year from Kertapati to Suralaya.
The company did not say the length of the barging contract.
Registration would be opened from Feb 21 through Feb 23, 2007, it said. (alex)
