PTBA opens tender for coal transportation

State coal mining firm PT.Tambang Batubara Bukit ASam (PTBA) announced on Friday tender of coal transportation from Tarahan, Lampung to Indonesia Power?s Suralaya Power plant unloading port in Suralaya, Banten.
According to the announcement, PTBA will require panamax with capacity of 60,000 tonnes to transport 1.44 million tones of coal (+/-10%) for a period of 12 months.
Registration for interested bidders would be opened from November 3 to 6, 2008 at the company?s offices in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra and Jakarta. (alex)
