PTBA ?overwhelmed? by strong spot demand in Malaysia, Japan

IDX-listed state coal mining company PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) is ?overwhelmed? by rising spot demand from cement companies in Malaysia and power plants in Japan.

PTBA President Director Sukrisno said on Wednesday that the Malaysian and Japanese buyers are demanding a combined additional supply of 300,000 tons on top of the contractual supply of 1 million tons for this year. (denny)
