PTBA pays dividend Rp.58 per share

Annual general meeting of JSX-listed state coal miner PT. Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) held on Tuesday had agreed to allocate 50 percent of its 2003 net earnings as dividends.
The company said in a statement that PT.BA would allocate Rp.123.6 billion (US$=Rp.9, 000) or Rp.58 per share. 2003-dividend distribution increased by 39 percent compared to previous year?s dividend of Rp.39 per share.
PTBA operates a huge coalmine in South Sumatra, but its output was limited to around 10 million tons annually due to railway transportation problems. (godang)
