PTBA pays Rp.88.99b in dividend, elects new commissioners

State coal mining firm PT. Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam(PTBA) annual general meeting on Monday decided to pay dividend of Rp.88.99 billion or Rp. 41.75 per share (US$ = Rp.8, 850), or 50 percent of the company?s 2002 net profit.
The company elected Simon Felix Sembiring the company?s chief commissioner and, Mahyudin Lubis, Jarman and Mirza Muchtar the company?s commissioners and Mirman as independent commissioners.
PTBA, which is listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange, is one of Indonesia?s top coal producers with coal sales of 9.75 million tons in 2002. (godang)
