PTBA, PLN is CBM supply deal

IDX-listed state coal mining firm PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is in talks with state electricity firm PLN over the possibility of the latter offtaking future coal-bed methane (CBM) production from the former?s working area in South Sumatra.
PTBA Corporate Secretary Achmad Sudarto told Petromindo.Com that the MoU would be signed ?soon?.
PTBA, in partnership with Australian firm Arrow Energy and state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) operate the Tanjung Enim block. The partnership have agreed to a six-well exploration program due to commence in March 2010.(godang)
