PTBA reports increasing income on higher sales

State coal mining firm PT. Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) reported on Monday its 2007 net profit soared to Rp.760.2 billion (US$=Rp.9,050) or Rp.330 per share from Rp.485.7 billion or Rp.211 per share a year earlier.
The company booked sales of Rp.4.1 trillion in 2007 vs Rp.3.53 trillion in 2006.
PTBA sold 10.8 million tonnes of coal in 2007 and is aiming to increase sales to 13 million tonnes this year. (alex)
