PTK signs MoU on LNG terminal with Tong Yeong Tug

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korean shipping company Tong Yeong Tug Co. Ltd, to cooperate on the operationalization of Donggi?Senoro liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal.

The company stated in a press statement that the MoU was signed by PTK President Director Ahmad Bambang and Tong Yeong Tug Co. Ltd President Director and CEO Jang Seokhyo in Jakarta last week.

Based on the agreement, both companies will cooperate for the project operationalization of Donggi-Senoro LNG terminal. ?This cooperation shows the good faith of both companies to carry out cooperation in handling potential business in the future,? said the press statement.

Tong Yeong Tug Co. Ltd. until now has 5 units of tug boat with each capacity varies from 4200 to 6000 HP. Tong Yeong Tug Co. Ltd was established in 2001, and has seen a significant growth.

The signing ceremony was also attended by PTK Operation Director Joni Harsono, Finance Director Nasuhi Hidajat, Corporate Secretary Nurkasa Siregar, Manager of Strategic Plan & Business Development Zainullah Santoso, and some representatives of the Tong Yeong Tug Co. Ltd.
