PTK signs MoU with Namsung Tug

PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), a marine services subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has recently signed a business cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korea?s Namsung Tug Co Ltd, a unit of Namsung shipping group.
PTK said in a statement obtained Monday that the cooperation includes the provision and operation of LNG vessel for regasification plants, and offshore vessels to support upstream oil and gas activities in Indonesia.
The MoU was signed by PTK President Director Ahmad Bambang and his visiting counterpart Park Yeoung So, Director & CEO of Namsung Tug Co Ltd. No details were provided.
Elsewhere, PTK said that has also recently held ?technical talks? with the diversified PT Korindo, and Singapore?s shipyard operator Jurong SML on business opportunities of the Arco Ardjuna Dry Dock project.
The company said in a separate statement obtained Monday the three firms have formed a consortium for the project. No more details about the project were provided.
