PTNNT pays $ 5,9 million for Q3 2002 royalty

Copper and gold miner PT Newmont Nusatenggara (PTNNT) said it had paid its quarterly royalty on the concentrate shipped in the third quarter from July to September 2002 on 31 October 2002 to the Government of Indonesia. The royalty of US$ 5,9 million has been deposited to the finance minister account.

PTNNT said the royalty it had paid from Q1 to Q3 amounted to $13 million.

From the first shipment in 1999 to date, PTNNT?s total amount of royalty payments is $44,413,879. (*)
