PTPN X unit sells bioethanol to TOI

PT Energi Agro Nusantara (Enero), a subsidiary of state-owned plantation firm PTPN X, said it has recently signed a 6-month contract with PT Total Oil Indonesia (TOI) to sell 135 kilo liters of bioethanol to the latter.
Enero said in a recent statement that TOI, a subsidiary of France-based Total Group, needs the bioethanol to meet the government?s mandatory biodiesel blending policy. TOI started its fuel retail business in Indonesia in 2007.
Enero Finance and Commercial Director Izmirta Rachman said that the transaction volume is expected to increase in the future.
