PTT says no plan to build gas stations in Indonesia

Thailand oil and gas firm PTT Public Company Limited on Wednesday said that it had no planned to build gas stations in Indonesia.

In a letter to The Stock Exchange of Thailand company vice president Pichai Chunhavajira denied earlier press reports that PTT is in talks with PT Medco Energi International Tbk. to build gas stations in Indonesia after the government opens the market in 2003.

?The reports are not true and currently we have no policy to expand our foreign investment,? he said. (robert)
