PTTEP completes seismic data acquisition in eastern Indonesia PSCs

Although seismic activities have just been completed, the company has yet to disclose timetable for drilling in those blocks. ?It is too early talking about drilling,? Luechai Wongsirasawad, Executive Vice President of PTTEP said.
The company said earlier that the seismic data acquisition covers an area of 4,800 km2 with water depth ranges from 500-2,000 meters.
South Mandar block is spread over an area of 3,882 square kilometers, Malunda 5,148 square kilometers, Sadang 3,718 square kilometers, and South Sageri covers an area of 3,700 square kilometers.
PTTEP is the operator of Malunda and South Mandar blocks and holds 100 percent and 67 percent interest, respectively, while Talisman holds the rest. For another two blocks, Sadang and South Sageri, PTTEP holds 40 percent and 30 percent interest while Talisman, the operator, holds 60 percent and 70 percent interest. (josef)
