Thai oil and gas firm PTT Exploration and Production PLC (PTTEP) plans to farm out part of its interest in the Malunda block offshore Makassar Strait.
?During the IPA?s convention last week, some international companies expressed interest to farm-in to this block. Our data room has been opened once and (the opening) will be extended for a second time or a few times again,? General Manager of PTTEP Indonesia Titi Thongjen told Petromindo.com.
He did not give further details about the percentage of interest it planned to farm out.
PTTEP was awarded the production sharing contract for the Malunda block in 2010, holding a 100 percent interest.
