In his remarks, Dody said the reshuffle is part of a broader effort to build stronger state capacity, emphasizing that organizational changes are not merely administrative but are intended to improve the government’s ability to deliver effective public policies.

“The Public Works Ministry is expected to continue delivering works that benefit society, not only in terms of process but also in outcomes that can be clearly felt,” he said.

He also conveyed a message from President Prabowo Subianto, highlighting that a strong and clean civil service is one of the key pillars of effective governance. Civil servants, he noted, must demonstrate competence while upholding integrity, unity and public trust.

Dody added that the ministry will continue to promote governance improvements and strengthen institutional integrity to foster a more professional and adaptive work environment. He stressed that professionalism and integrity must go hand in hand to ensure sustainable and results-oriented performance.
