Punj Lloyd bags contract to build S. Kalimantan fuel storage

Indian engineering firm Punj Lloyd announced Monday that its Indonesian unit PT Punj Lloyd Indonesia has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction services contract of new fuel terminal at Pulau Laut, South Kalimantan, by PT Shell Indonesia for a value of US$ 22.48 million.

Shell is partnering with South Kalimantan coal terminal PT.Indonesia Bulk Terminal (IBT) to build the fuel storage, which will have capacity to store 60,000 kiloliters of fuel.

According IBT parent IDX-listed PT.Adaro Energy the storage is built to ensure fuel supply for its coal mining unit PT.Adaro Indonesia. (alex)
