Purnomo installs new senior officials at the ministry

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro on Wednesday afternoon installed new top officials at the ministry.

The new officials included director general of oil and gas Luluk Sumiarso, director general of electricity and energy development J. Purnowo, ministry secretary general Waryono Karno, inspector general Suryantoro and head of the ministry?s education and training center Irwan Bahar.

Luluk took over from Iin Arifin Takhyan, who has been appointed as vice president of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina. Luluk was previously secretary general at the ministry.

Purnomo also installed Novian Thaib, Evita Legowo and Lobo Balia as expert staff.

Meanwhile, former director general of electricity and energy development Yogo Pratomo will head a new agency for the acceleration of power generation development program. (godang)
