Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro said Thursday he would visit Mexico in the near future to lobby local government officials to smoothen Indonesia?s liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports to that country, Bisnis Indonesia daily reported Thursday.

?We are making an appointment with the Mexican president to meet with him in the near future,? Purnomo told reporters.

?We need G to G negotiations unless we shall find it difficult to sell our LNG. Such negotiations would be followed by B to B deals,? Purnomo added.

Meanwhile, Indonesia is in negotiations with US investors to export LNG to the United State?s West Coast. LNG to be exported will come from Donggi Block in Central Sulawesi. (*)
