Purnomo urges tax office to exempt certain PSCs from VAT

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources called on the directorate general of tax to exempt the production sharing contractors (PSCs) of the state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina which are still under exploration stage to be exempted from the obligation to pay value added tax (VAT).

Purnomo said Wednesday that these group of PSCs were still in the stage of making huge spending so they should not be incurred with VAT.(Godang)
