State oil company Pertamina and state fertilizer producer Pusri have agreed to sell part of their electricity to state electricity company PLN at 3.7 U.S. cent per kWh to help solve the acute shortage in the power supply in South Sumatera.

The province' s governor Rosihan Anwar told Srwijaya Post on Thursday said that both companies, which earlier required higher rates, had finally agreed with his proposal to sell the power supply at 3.7 U.S. cent per kWh.
