Quest to drill first exploration well at Kayumanis

ASX-listed firm Quest Petroleum said it is preparing to drill its first exploration well in the highly prospective Kayumanis lead within the Ranau PSC.

Drilling rigs and materials are currently being sourced in preparation to drill, it said in a company statement.

Quest Petroleum said the drilling would be carried out amidst what it calls positive sentiment sweeping the oil and gas industry.

It highlighted BPMIGAS' recent approval on twelve oil & gas development plans that contemplate approximately $830 million of investment into the sector.
