Radiant enters marine services business

IDX-listed oil and gas service firm Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk (RUI) said on Thursday that its subsidiary PT. Supraco Indonesia had bought crane barge, tugboats and other related equipment with total value around Rp 30 billion (1US$=9,150).
The company will use the equipments for dredging services.
RUI said it has set a join operation with an experienced local company who has won the contract for provisioning dredging services to an oil company in East Kalimantan.
The company also said it has secured two years contract worth of Rp 22 billion for various operation support services for Vico Indonesia and new contract for various inspection jobs with total value of Rp 10 billion for several oil & gas companies. (denny)
